@o2 – UK – sending your phone number to websites you visit – wheres your privacy?

If you are an O2 mobile user in the UK then you should be aware of something which affects your privacy. Check out this article …
http://thenextweb.com/mobile/2012/01/25/uk-mobile-operator-o2-sends-your-phone-number-to-every-website-you-visit/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+TheNextWeb+%28The+Next+Web+All+Stories%29
If you use your mobile to browse the web or to visit forums – O2 send your mobile number in your Browsers ‘agent user’. And its in Plain Text.
So , you may not have been very ‘anonymous’ when you visited that shopping website or posted that response on the chat forum using an anonymous nickname.

Another blow for privacy! – I can smell lawsuits galore in the mobile air….
