Where does the time go?

The days were long, endless ..drawn out,
Too much time on hand, is too much time to dwell,
And then a change for good,
a busy busy spell...

I have been busy folks…not time to blog …but soon I will resume my wasted scrawls  …I promise ;-)

Why @vodafoneUK suck as a Customer Service account … #Vodafone #UK

This is why I think Vodafone’s Twitter account are about as useful as one of their handsets
A few months ago I had problems with my phone, which is a Contract with Vodafone in the United Kingdom.
Their website was of no use and their Customer Service via phone were only too eager to say the problem was not their fault and that it must have been something I did to my settings.
In the end I tweeted their Customer support on Twitter Vodafone Customer Service on Twitter

That led me into an endless round of following the links provided by them and none of those helped me either.
I can’t remember all of those who dealt with me – I do recall ^PW and ^CT were 2 of them …
6 weeks of tweets and emails and calls before I finally had the Service promised by them when I initially entered into my contract.
Now, it seems I am back to square one.
I have been having a problem where my phone keeps saying ‘Sim not accepted’
I have removed the Sim, re-inserted it, rebooted, and none of this has helped.
I have tweeted them again – and now am being TOTALLY IGNORED and they have not even responded.
And that is why they suck at Customer Service.
I would love to hear from others who have had problems with the Service on their Vodafone handset or with the awful crowd who are running their Twitter account.

I will NOT be paying my bill …

Farewell Vodafone for breach of Contract – I have never felt so badly treated by any company I am a customer with.

My Response to Concurrent Jurisdiction Consultation / cc @jrodwyer @janissharp

To whom it concerns,

In response to the Concurrent Jurisdiction Consultation I would like to raise my concerns at how the powers of the UK C.P.S are now – Apparently and blatantly , being usurped by United States Law.

I refer in particular to the recent case of Richard O’Dwyer who commited no offence here in the UK as confirmed by letter from the UK CPS to his Barrister – yet the United States ‘Justice Department’ seemed quite easily to command UK Police to arrest, and UK Courts to order his ‘Extradition’ with little or no hindrance or support from his own Government, Police force or yourselves at the CPS.

I also refer to Gary McKinnon who also can show documentation from the UK CPS that he committed no crime in the UK, yet the US Prosecutors office hounded and harrassed this UK Citizen for a decade , causing untold damage to his health and state of mind.

The CPS has responsibilities first and foremost to investigate any alleged Crime and if there has been NO CRIME commited here in the UK , The UK C.P.S has a duty to try and ensure a fair and level playing field for the Citizens they work for.

‘They Work for Us’ is a slogan much used in Government spin, its about time they stood up for ‘us’ too!

Both of the cases mentioned could have been dealt with here in the UK by the C.P.S. And fairness could have been applied.

Stand up for your Citizens. Stop being lackeys for US Prosecutors. Its about time you actually did try and ‘work for us’ instead of them!

Yours Sincerely,
Cliff Sullivan

Note: This response has been cc’d via twitter and wordpress – to the mothers of Gary and Richard – in solidarity and to let them know – I feel as they do, Let down by the Crown Prosecution Service. I waive anonymity and feel free to release it via FOI , as it is now already in the Public Domain.
